Cade Booth, CBO CFM
Founder, Managing Partner.
Cade Booth founded Code Consultants of Savannah to provide insight and support to developers and design teams. She carries multiple certifications from the International
Code Council, including Certified Building Official, Certified Fire Marshal, and Building Plans Examiner.

A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Cade majored in Architecture with a certification in City Planning. Before founding CCS, she worked nearly a decade
with the City of Savannah, where she regulated over 500 million dollars of construction annually while directly assisting preservation and new development alike. She has served on multiple
development committees with the International Code Council, worked with State of Georgia industrialized building committee to develop their Tiny Houses code appendix, and spoken at local chapters of
national professional organizations such as AIA and SEA.

Cade founded Code Consultants of Savannah in 2017 to bridge the growing divide between regulation and reality and provide direct code support and insight to architects
and developers, giving their teams freedom to do what they do best – design and build – and stop getting stuck in the red tape of regulation. In the first 90 days of CCS, she saved her then-handful
of clients over a million dollars, and continues to provide savings in the form of countless dollars and an immeasurable time.

When she isn’t surrounded by code books, Cade can be found barefoot around the waters of her hometown of Savannah, Georgia.

But why CCS?
Working as the certified building official for a coastal, historic city, Cade worked day in and day out with the best (and worst!) of all facets of the design and
construction industry. It quickly became apparent the gap between regulatory codes and the realities of the design and construction industry was growing, even in the best of conditions.

So, Cade and her team of examiners and inspectors pivoted and took pride in providing support to design professionals and contractors in addition to traditional
regulation duties required of permit and inspections departments. But the gap just kept increasing with every new regulation, year after year, and no amount of outreach seemed to keep up with the
shifting demands of the "dark arts" of the building codes.

So, in 2017, Cade left her position with the city and founded Code Consultants of Savannah - a company that mixes that peek behind the curtain of government regulation
with regulatory code expertise to provide support directly to design and construction teams.

Quite simply, design zigged, code zagged,
and Code Consultants of Savannah was born.
